Full Job Description
Straight Forward Logistics is seeking an ambitious and driven Logistics Sales Representative to join our growing transportation team. We are looking for someone who can generate new business, build strong client relationships, and grow freight opportunities across multiple shipping channels.
This role is ideal for a sales professional with experience in logistics, freight brokerage, transportation, or B2B sales who thrives in a performance-driven environment and wants unlimited earning potential.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow new customer accounts through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Build and maintain a book of business
- Identify customer shipping needs and provide transportation solutions
- Negotiate pricing and freight rates
- Work closely with operations and dispatch teams to ensure successful shipment execution
- Maintain customer relationships and deliver excellent service
- Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and KPIs
- Track activity using CRM and internal systems
Qualifications:
Required:
- Sales experience preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Goal-oriented mindset
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting and closing deals
Preferred:
- Experience in logistics, freight brokerage, transportation, or supply chain
- Existing customer relationships or book of business
- Knowledge of truckload, LTL, intermodal, or expedited freight
