The WARC Logistics Coordinator reports to the Manager, WARC Logistics and Facilities. The coordinator contributes to the effective operation of the WARC research and logistics programs by coordinating logistical, technical, financial, and administrative services for the Manager, WARC Logistics and Facilities and the WARC staff. The incumbent is the first point of contact for the public and facility users, which includes representatives from local organizations, research organizations, government agencies, and both Canadian and international universities.
The incumbent manages information dissemination, regarding the availability of services, accommodations, and equipment at WARC and in the surrounding Beaufort Delta region.

An ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimum supervision
Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by:
Completion of an office administration diploma, or equivalent
Three years experience in an administrative support role, or equivalent work experience
Background experience in database management
Valid class five driver’s licence
