Job Summary

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating transportation and delivery activities while providing exceptional customer support in collaboration with internal subject-matter experts. This role oversees key aspects of supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient flow of raw materials and finished goods from suppliers to customers while maintaining operational excellence.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in managing logistics operations, inventory, procurement, and customer support while contributing to the continuous improvement of CCSE's operational processes.

Responsibilities

Operations

  • Coordinate internal activities to meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Oversee day-to-day supply chain operations.
  • Organize and manage inventory, warehousing, and transportation activities.
  • Analyze and continuously improve logistics processes.
  • Review, prepare, and process purchase orders.
  • Coordinate timely shipment pickups and deliveries.
  • Monitor shipment status, transportation costs, timelines, and operational performance.
  • Investigate and resolve shipment, inventory, and service issues.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Coordinate procurement activities, perform quality checks, and investigate service failures, including defects, customer complaints, and delivery delays.
  • Maintain operational and technical databases while ensuring master data accuracy.
  • Generate operational and inventory reports.
  • Update inventory records and prepare, pick, pack, and ship customer orders.
  • Provide general administrative support to CCSE's leadership team.
  • Prepare quality reports and supporting documentation.

Technical Support

  • Provide first-level hardware and software support for CCSE's UNI°COLD environmental monitoring platform.
  • Escalate technical issues to the appropriate subject-matter experts when required.

Qualifications

  • College diploma or certification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or a similar role. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Working knowledge of logistics, inventory management, procurement, and general administration.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in both English and French.
