We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Assistant to join our team. As a Logistics Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the logistics operations of our company. You will be responsible for assisting with procurement, transportation management systems, demand planning, materials management, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with AS400 systems and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

– Assist with procurement activities, including sourcing and purchasing materials
– Coordinate transportation logistics, including scheduling and tracking shipments
– Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products
– Assist with demand planning and inventory management
– Support the implementation and maintenance of transportation management systems
– Assist with materials management, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods
– Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions
– Assist with warehouse operations, including organizing and maintaining inventory
– Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to optimize supply chain efficiency
– Provide support for e-commerce order fulfillment processes
