Overview
Join our team as a Livestock Handler. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working around hogs. Applicant would be responsible for sorting hogs and some computer work. Competitive pay with medical insurance, vacation, 401k and paid holidays.
Responsibilities
- Safely handle and move livestock using appropriate animal handling techniques to ensure their safety and comfort
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, tractors, and other farm machinery to assist with feeding, cleaning, and transportation tasks
- Maintain clean and healthy living environments for animals by cleaning pens, barns, and equipment regularly
- Assist with feeding schedules, watering systems
- Follow safety protocols diligently during heavy lifting, equipment operation tasks, and other physically demanding activities
- General computer work
