Copper City Liquor Store is in Invermere BC. Attached to our Invermere Inn & Suites hotel. Copper City Liquor store offers a wide selection from big brand names to small craft products. We are looking for friendly and knowledgeable candidates to join our team!
POSITION SUMMARY:
Liquor Store Attendant is responsible for assisting customers with purchases, stocking shelves, managing inventory, operating a cash register, and ensuring the cleanliness of the store is well- maintained. The attendant must have excellent customer service skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team and have a strong knowledge of products sold in store.
Responsibilities:
Greeting customers and helping them find the products they are looking for.
Operating a cash register and handling cash and credit card transactions
Stocking shelves and ensuring products are displayed neatly.
Checking inventory levels and ordering products as needed
Maintaining a clean and organized store environment
Checking IDs to ensure that customers are of legal drinking age.
Providing product knowledge and recommendations to customers
Handling customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Adhering to all relevant laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol.
Requirements:
Be at least 19 years of age.
Be able to legally work in Canada.
Be able to provide excellent customer service.
Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with the public.
Be able to demonstrate aptitude for cashier and related duties, including calculations.
Be able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 20-25 kg boxes.
Have a valid Serving It Right Certificate.
