Terminal: Laval
Dedicated delivery Route: Laval to Ottawa and Cornwall Terminal
Sunday to Thursday
Sundays: Dedicated runs from Laval to Ottawa and Cornwall Terminal (and back)
Monday to Thursdays: Dedicated run from Laval to Ottawa
Shift Start: 930PM to 630AM/7AM
Overtime pay
What you will do:
Drive a Reefer Tractor Trailer on Dedicated runs from Laval to Ottawa and or Cornwall Terminals
Deliver products in good condition and within scheduled time
Back up and park Tractor Trailer at Terminal loading dock
Complete any necessary paperwork accurately
Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection
Report on all safety hazards and accidents
Use a cellular phone to communicate with Dispatch, Lead Hand and Manager ie. Truck breakdowns, delivery concerns, answer calls, texts etc….
Provide excellent customer service
Build strong client relationships
Adhere to safety and compliance regulations
Additional duties as required

$ 24.09/hour + $1.00 night premium

What we require of you:
_Bilingualism – Must speak French fluently_
High School Diploma
Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver’s License is a must
Experience as a Line Haul Driver is an asset
Possess a Clean Commercial Driver’s Abstract
Minimum 2 year Commercial highway driving experience in a Tractor Trailer
Capable of backing up and parking a Tractor Trailer at Terminal loading dock
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork
Customer Focus – experience providing quality customer service
Adaptable to change
Experience working in a fast paced environment
Experience working independently and with minimal supervision
Ability to work on a team and being a team player
Must be comfortable with using onboard or handheld computer devices
Must have a safety and compliance mind set
