Full job description
Lotos Pizzeria is a local Restaurant in Stoney Creek known for it’s wood-burning pizza oven, separate Banquet Hall for private events and heated outdoor patio. We’re looking forhardworking, outgoing and enthusiasticindividuals.
Duties:
– Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
– Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
– Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times
– Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
– Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
– Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
– Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook in the food industry is preferred
– Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
– Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
– Minimum of two years experience in the food service industry is required
-Food & Handling Certification for cooks is required
– Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends & holidays
