We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Follow proper food safety procedures during meal preparation and service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is highly desirable
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality standards
- Prior exposure to the food industry or kitchen experience is considered an asset
