We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to restaurant standards, ensuring high-quality meal presentation and food safety. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation for various menu items, including salads, entrees, and sides
- Cook dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including proper food handling and storage
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times
- Assist with plating and garnishing dishes for service
- Support the team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Follow all health department regulations and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food handling, and safety protocols is highly desirable
- Experience with meal preparation and food service operations will be advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in a commercial kitchen environment is essential
- Prior restaurant experience or culinary training is a plus but not mandatory for motivated candidates willing to learn
