Lokum Eats is hiring for a Line Cook. We are looking for individuals who are creative and are passionate about everything food and beverage. The position demands creativity on a daily basis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards. The ideal candidate works well under pressure, is organized, flexible and is self-motivated.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain all kitchen cooking and service standards
Grow knowledge of all Lokum Eats and Turkish Culture food and beverage offerings
Assist with product check-in and rotation to ensure all recipes and orders are executed at the highest possible standards of accuracy and in a timely manner
Consistently uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation
Assume responsibility for an entire station and all ingredient prep for that station
Participate in teamwork and foster harmonious working climate
Embrace change and deliver top results no matter the obstacle
Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes according to recipes and standards
Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure high-quality meals
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas
Monitor food inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the appropriate personnel
Adhere to all safety regulations
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 2 years of cooking experience
Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
A desire to learn and grow within the company

The right candidate will be offered an employee development plan and if all the necessary requirements are met on time they will be offered the position of Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef with a pay increase.
