Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Jobs in Edmonton at Norsemen Ventures
Requiring Private In-Home Care For A Fully Dependent Individual.
SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 6am – 8am and 3:30pm to 7:30pm and Weekends / Saturday (8am-8pm), Sunday (8am- 8pm).
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide care to client such as medication administration, vitals, monitoring client’s health.
- Help clients with their ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living).
- Comfortable working with all ages having cognitive and physical disabilities / fully dependent clients.
- Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
- Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
- Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description.
- Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
- Identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed.
Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of a recognized LPN program
- Must be registered and in good standing with their related Licensing Body (CLPNA)
- Must hold valid certification in First Aid and CPR
- Prior to employment, obtain a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector check
- Comfortable working with all ages having cognitive and physical disabilities and fully dependent clients.
- Must have valid Class 5 driver’s license
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
