Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various tools and equipment. The Automotive Technician will work closely with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure their vehicles are in optimal condition. MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, brake services, and tire rotations
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and assembly tasks
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating findings and recommendations clearly
- Assist in heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall service efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- 310S Licensed Automotive Technician (Experienced apprentices may also apply)
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Experience in welding is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) safely
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes, maintenance routines, and assembly techniques
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
