The Role

Cognota is hiring a Learning Operations Specialist to join our Customer Success and Education team. You will play a crucial role in the pioneering LearnOps Academy project, which is the first program worldwide to offer credentials in learning operations and is supported by a Canadian government grant. As a key team member, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry experts and Chief Learning Officers from leading global organizations.

Given that this role is supported by a Government grant, to be considered, candidates must be a post-secondary graduate (with a preference for those who have graduated within the last two ½ years) and a Canadian citizen from Ontario, either as a permanent resident or someone with refugee status (unfortunately, work permits and student work visas are not eligible). Additionally, applicants must be first-time participants in the Youth Program.

Responsibilities

Oversee the development of our educational offerings which includes the LearnOps Academy, Workshops, and Webinars to support operations and ensure compliance.

Collaborate with our Marketing and Sales team to meet program enrollment targets (e.g. drive education qualified leads).

Onboard new cohorts of learners to our Learning Management System and support learners with any questions as they begin new training programs.

Administrate the Learning Management System and issue CEUs and certifications

Report on the success of our programs to our leadership team.

Maintain a deep understanding of our industry and training offerings to highlight the potential for new educational initiatives.

Function as the main point of contact for our instructors and facilitators to ensure they are scheduled for synchronous training sessions and have support as required.

Requirements

Post-secondary graduate of an education, instructional design, or similar program

Excellent communication skills

Experience in instructional design is an asset

Thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

Self-starter, takes initiative and solves problems

Strong ability to manage stakeholder relationships

Works well with cross-functional groups

Familiarity with corporate learning and development and learning management systems is an asset
