We are growing and looking for a Lead Residential Electrician/ Field Operations Manager to lead our field team.
This is a leadership role for someone with strong residential service experience who is ready to step into operational ownership within a stable, well-run company.
Position Overview
The Field Manager serves as the primary bridge between the field and the office. This role ensures jobs run efficiently, quotes are built accurately, materials are coordinated properly, and the team has the support they need to perform at a high level.
This is a full-time salaried position with benefits.
Responsibilities
Field Leadership
- Serve as the first point of contact for field technicians
- Answer technical questions and assist with troubleshooting
- Step in on jobs when field coverage is needed
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with field team members
- Maintain high standards for workmanship and professionalism
Estimating & Quoting
- Build and finalize residential service quotes
- Collaborate with office staff gathering project details
- Ensure quotes are accurate, profitable, and timely
Operations & Coordination
- Coordinate materials and order specialty items
- Confirm job readiness before dispatch
- Finalize and send invoices for completed work
- Confirm and submit team hours for payroll processing
- Maintain organized and stocked field supplies
Hiring & Team Growth
- Lead hiring efforts for electricians
- Assist with onboarding and training
- Help build a strong, professional team culture
This role will continue to grow as the company grows.
Qualifications
- Strong electrical theory & code knowledge
- Strong residential service electrical experience required
- Leadership mindset with confidence in decision-making
- Organized and systems-oriented
- Comfortable using technology and quoting software
- Strong communication skills
- High level of integrity and professionalism
