Currently, we have an opening for a Rock Tools Technician Lead Hand. The Rock Tools Technician Lead Hand is responsible for supporting the rock tools contracts by providing guidance in correct usage of tools, management, and distribution of products. Are you customer focused? Do you have strong

What you will be doing Manage rock tool inventory and track all new issues, discards, and losses.

Utilize Rock Tools Management System to monitor and report on tools performance.

Troubleshoot and provide technical recommendations and improvements to Supervisor and Sandvik Sales and Service Representatives.

Produce and present monthly performance reports to customer operations department.

Assist in training of customers and Sandvik employees as required.

Report occurrences that may indicate improper usage or selection by operators.

Complete accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports.

Stay current with industry, customer, product developments and technical best practices.

Build sound relationships with the rock tools team, and internal and external customers to ensure smooth operations and participates in training of both clients and employees as required.

Comply with SMC safety policies and applicable government, customer or industry regulations or requirements.

Responsible for identifying and reporting any unsafe work habits, workplace incidents and / or near misses.

Maintain hand

tools and equipment

to ensure safe operation.

Maintain orderly workshop and ensure housekeeping requirements are met.

Perform other relevant duties as assigned by manager.
