Lead Cook Jobs in Uxbridge at Urban Pantry Restaurant
We are looking for a full-time Experienced Cook.

Reporting to the Executive Chef you must be able to work in a fast pace environment.
Looking for a passionate individual who enjoys working with local ingredients, culinary arts and is a dependable team player. A strong candidate has experience in working in a high volume farm to table kitchen and is able to take initiative. Minimum 5 years experience working in a professional kitchen.
Responsibilities:
· Work alongside chef to manage the kitchen logistically
· Work with chef to create new dishes on a regular basis
· Manage food inventory & place orders
· Help manage + mentor other staff
· Sets up station according to restaurant guidelines
· Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
· Follow recipes, portion control and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant
· Restock all items as needed throughout the shift
· Help with all aspects of food preparation
· Assist with the cleaning, sanitation and organization of kitchen
· Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef
Requirements:
· Completed formal education at a culinary school
· 5 years experience working in a kitchen
· Be passionate about the culinary industry + food
· Enjoy the creative process of new dishes
· Enjoy working in a team environment
Bonus Skills:
· Previous experience in a senior cook position
· Background in pastry
