Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead <PERSON> to oversee and coordinate complex construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every site. As a key leader in our construction team, you will manage crews, interpret blueprints and schematics, and supervise the installation of various building components. Your expertise in deck building erection, concrete forming, masonry, and related trades will drive project success from start to finish. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead diverse teams, implement best practices, and contribute to high-profile construction initiatives with precision and enthusiasm.
Duties
- Lead and supervise construction crews in metal building erection, concrete forming, framing, trim carpentry.
- Coordinate daily site activities to ensure adherence to project timelines, safety standards, and quality specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes accurately.
- Oversee framing installation, concrete finishing, masonry work and carpentry operations including trim carpentry and framing.
- Operate or direct the operation of heavy equipment and power tools necessary for construction tasks.
- Ensure proper use of hand tools and power tools while maintaining safety protocols across the site.
- Manage subcontractors and team members effectively to foster collaboration and productivity on-site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, stucco, or related trades.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation.
- Extensive hands-on experience with rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, welding procedures, framing carpentry (including woodworking), siding installation, and remodeling projects.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently; familiarity with heavy lifting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety standards and protocols.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, architects, subcontractors, and team members.
