Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team, responsible for ensuring the proper upkeep and functionality of our outdoor and indoor facilities. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks related to landscape, horticulture, and general building upkeep. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with gardening and landscape maintenance, and familiarity with construction tools and techniques. Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, and irrigation system installation and repair
- Operate equipment such as excavators and power tools safely and effectively
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for repairs, construction projects, or general upkeep
- Assist with gardening tasks including planting, pruning, and soil preparation
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution across landscaped areas
- Carry out mechanical repairs on equipment or structures as needed
- Support construction or renovation projects by providing technical assistance and labor support
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
Qualifications
- Proven experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, or related fields
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is a plus
- Strong understanding of construction practices and general maintenance procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, operating machinery, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license preferred; ability to operate machinery safely is essential

Pay: Up to $29.60 per hour
