Lawn Care Technician – Fertilization & Weed Control (Massachusetts Pesticide License Required)
Location: Stoughton, MA
Job Type: Full-Time
Provost Companies is a fast-growing landscape and property maintenance company seeking a Lawn Care Technician with a valid Massachusetts Pesticide License. We’re looking for a reliable, motivated individual who takes pride in their work and wants to grow with our team.
Responsibilities:
- Apply lawn fertilization, weed control, and pest control products safely and accurately
- Operate sprayers, spreaders, and other lawn care equipment
- Perform lawn evaluations and report findings to management
- Identify common weeds, turf diseases, and diagnose lawn health issues
- Deliver excellent customer service to residential and commercial clients
- Maintain equipment and follow all state and company safety protocols
Requirements:
- Valid Massachusetts Pesticide License (Core required; Category 37 preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of lawn care or fertilization experience
- Ability to identify common weeds and lawn diseases
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Pay & Benefits:
- $25–$35 per hour based on experience and licensing

Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- Weekends as needed during peak season
