Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Lawn Care Specialist to help build and grow our lawn care program. This role focuses on diagnosing turf issues, developing fertilization and treatment plans, and supporting our plant healthcare division.
The ideal candidate is experienced in turf management, enjoys problem-solving, and is interested in contributing to both lawn and tree/plant health services.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose lawn health issues including weeds, pests, disease, and soil deficiencies
- Develop and implement fertilization and treatment programs
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and other treatments safely and effectively
- Evaluate properties and recommend improvement plans to customers
- Assist in building and refining our lawn care service offerings
- Cross-train in plant healthcare services (trees and shrubs)
- Help train team members on lawn care best practices
- Maintain accurate records of treatments and property conditions
- Communicate clearly with customers about recommendations and results
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in lawn care, turf management, or similar fie
- Strong knowledge of Fertilization programs, Weed and pest control, Turfgrass types and soil health
- Ability to diagnose lawn problems and recommend solutions
- Pesticide applicator license (or ability to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred
- Experience with plant healthcare (trees/shrubs)
- Interest in leadership or training others
- Experience building or improving service programs

Pay: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour
