Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to ensure lush, manicured lawns.
- Maintain landscape features including planting beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements like patios and walkways.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to carry out landscaping projects.
- Conduct tree care activities such as pruning, trimming, and planting to promote healthy growth.
- Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal watering schedules.
- Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment like excavators, lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, and other landscaping machinery.
Experience
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and power tools used in landscaping is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with horticulture principles, tree care techniques, and hardscape installation enhances your ability to succeed.
- Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other construction machinery is a plus.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety procedures while handling hand tools and machinery.
