Lawn & Garden Team Associate — Job Description
Summary: Supports the Lawn & Garden area by stocking and merchandising seasonal/outdoor products, maintaining pricing/signing, and helping customers with product location and basic questions.
Key Duties:
- Stock freight, replenish outs, downstock/topstock (soil, mulch, chemicals, tools, patio/seasonal)
- Zone/face, build and maintain features/endcaps; keep aisles and outdoor pad clean and safe
- Verify pricing/labels/signing; support price changes
- Assist customers (carry-outs/loading as needed per store direction)
- Follow safety practices for lifting, ladders, and handling garden chemicals; report hazards/shrink concerns
Qualifications:
- Customer-focused; able to work in a fast-paced environment indoors/outdoors
- Able to stand/walk for long periods and lift/move merchandise (commonly up to ~50 lbs; heavier items with assistance/equipment)
- Flexible schedule (weekends/holidays; seasonal peak availability preferred)
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
