Job Description
We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge as our new Laundry Attendant. Your careful attention to detail in daily operations will help maintain the high standards of our hotel linens, directly contributing to a clean, comfortable, and memorable guest experience.
Responsibilities
Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
Follow departmental policies, procedures, and service standards
Carry out various functions within the Laundry department
Sort and categorize soiled linen
Feed linen and laundry into the folding machine
Receive linen coming out of the laundry machine, sort and separate
Feed, receive, and record all linen items
Report necessary maintenance items
Ensure the completion of the task checklist by the end of each shift
Accurately record production data by specific items to track efficiency and inventory
Ensure laundry machines are thoroughly cleaned and maintained at the end of each shift
Must be flexible in regards to work schedules (weekends and holidays as required)
Follow all safety and sanitation policies
Adhere to all LQA standards set for the department
Consistently uphold a professional and well‑groomed appearance in accordance with the company’s established grooming policy
Adhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry an asset
Valid Alberta driver’s license an asset
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
