As a Landscaping Laborer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and beautifying outdoor spaces for both residential and commercial properties. Your work will involve a variety of tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting flowers, and maintaining irrigation systems. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team.
Responsibilities
Mow and edge lawns to maintain a neat and tidy appearance
Trim and prune trees, shrubs, and hedges to promote healthy growth
Plant flowers, shrubs, and other plants according to design plans
Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering
Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides as needed
Remove weeds, leaves, and debris from outdoor spaces
Assist in the construction of hardscaping features such as pathways and retaining walls
Requirements
Previous experience in landscaping or a related field preferred
Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
Knowledge of plant care and maintenance techniques
Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring repetitive motion, bending, and lifting
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
