Job Summary:
We are seeking a Landscape Laborer to join our team. As a Landscape Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to landscaping and garden maintenance. This is a hands-on position that requires physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
– Assist with the construction of landscape features, such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
– Perform landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, and weeding
– Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
– Irrigate plants and lawns as needed
– Operate hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, and pruning shears
– Utilize power tools, such as trimmers and blowers, for efficient completion of tasks
– Dig trenches for installation of irrigation systems or other landscape features
– Clean and maintain tools and equipment
– Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols
Skills:
– Ability to build and construct landscape features
– Mechanical knowledge for operating power tools
– Knowledge of garden maintenance techniques
– Proficiency in using hand tools for landscaping tasks
– Familiarity with irrigation systems and their operation
– Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
– Strong physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
