We are interviewing Leadhand Drivers to add to the team!
Posting this ad, for an experienced lead hand / driver with substantial local experience. We have a great team in place and are hiring now for another lead driverr to join our team to manage our growth and ensure our high standards continue.
Since 2000, we have delivered quality services with integrity in a team environment. We have many or our original clients! We operate up to 5 trucks in a team/crew atmosphere. We are not a “large” company, but more medium with 7-11 staff generally. We have a benefit plan and also do RRSP matching!
2024 is our 25th year delivering high level client services.

Seeking positive and professional staff who have a solid understanding of delivering good Customer Service; are punctual, and dependable, and enjoy outdoor year round work.
Driver Duties include safe operation of an Isuzu Cab Over (automatic truck) towing a trailer; and or safe operation of an automatic Ford Truck towing a trailer. Driver Leadhands must maintain and possess a valid Class5 or better BC DL
Experience and Skills:
Competent and Skilled at backing a trailer
-delegating staff with tasks, and mentoring new staff,.
-operation of STIHL brand equipment, with several dozen to hundreds of hours in hedging, including globing, pyramids, flat and level trimming, small and large shrubs and Cedars.
Hedging and Tree Pruning working off an Orchard Ladder 6-16feet sizes. Possibly on slopes.
-STIHL line trimmers, and Blade Edger attachments including refilling string, and blades, for use on a COMBI power head.
-Safe operation with hundreds of hours of experience with HONDA Commercial Mowers.
-Aeration equipment,
-Large Mower Equipment- Should have experience with Ride ON Tractors. Ideally also Zero Turn equipment. Including both mulching and bagging / emptying of bags. Training is provided.
-Experience at prioritizing / being organized – for maximum efficiency and time savings, identifying areas of a site that need work, and engaging / delegating a crew.
-Operation of Back Pack Blowers for Leaf clean up – and Removal – High quality Results – curb lines and corners of parking / paved areas, Clean out of garden beds- Not blowing debris into garden beds,
-Application of Casoran Granular weed control for beds
-Application of Lime and Fertilizers for Turf on a large scale,
-Application of Landscape supplies, (Mulch Soil etc, Planting Seasonal Flowers, Watering Flowers)
-This list is not exhaustive but provides a very good idea of tasks and skills required.
The Company has been in operation over 24years and operates a professional fleet of branded vehicles.
Staff are provided shirts./sweatshirts/hats/touques/Gloves / PPE,
Year Round Staff are offered Boot Allowances.
