Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead our landscaping and maintenance teams in delivering high-quality outdoor environments. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate landscape maintenance activities, including lawn care, gardening, pruning, and irrigation system management.
- Oversee landscaping projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to design plans, safety protocols, and project timelines.
- Manage and mentor crew members, providing training in horticulture techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Perform or oversee specialized tasks such as tree care, construction of landscape features, or installation of irrigation systems.
- Maintain equipment and tools in optimal condition; schedule routine maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and team members to coordinate project requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Enforce safety standards on-site to promote a secure working environment for all personnel.
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping projects, or related fields with a focus on supervising teams.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture practices including gardening, lawn care, tree care, and irrigation systems.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and manage diverse crews effectively.
- Familiarity with construction techniques relevant to outdoor environments and landscape installation.
- Excellent organizational skills for planning daily operations and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to landscaping equipment or plant health.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, and vendors.
