Laborer for Aerial Cable Construction Company
Laborer Pay
$15 – $20 an hour
Our work environment job duties include:
- Assist in aerial tasks as well as manual labor aspects as directed by Foreman/Lineman
- Handle physically demanding construction duties.
- Load, unload, layout and prepare tools/equipment needed for each job site.
- Knowledge of tools and materials used for maintenance and construction of lines.
- Be able to be professional to customers while respecting their property while installing fiber.
- Follow company policies.
- Pull a lasher, carry ladder and throw a rope.
- Direct traffic flow in accordance with local DOT guidelines
- Drive company vehicle to and from jobsite locations,
- Properly maintain company vehicle.
- Ability to work as part of the team and relate well with co-workers.
- Work under any type of weather conditions.
- Ability to work weekends if necessary.
- Ability to travel for projects. Hotels are paid for
License/Certification/Qualifications:
- High school or GED certificate preferred.
- Possess or have the ability to get a DOT medical card.
- Class A CDL Preferred
- Must have reliable form of transportation
