Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated full time Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the laboratory operations and ensuring accurate data collection and analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience in a food and cosmetic supply chain laboratory setting.
Duties:
– Assist with various laboratory tasks, including sample preparation, testing, and analysis
– Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results
– Perform quality control checks to maintain the integrity of data
– Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
– Record and organize data in accordance with laboratory guidelines
– Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
– Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
– College diploma or above in a science or biology field preferred
– Previous experience working in a biology research laboratory setting is a plus
– Strong math skills for data calculations and analysis
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
– Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
– Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite
– Knowledge of quality control procedures is desirable

Salary: $19.50-$24.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
