Responsibilities:
– Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen manager or head chef
– Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
– Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining experience for our customers
– Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient service
– Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling ingredients
– Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying the kitchen manager when supplies need to be replenished
– Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and maintain freshness
Qualifications:
– Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
– Knowledge of basic kitchen operations and cooking techniques is a plus
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
– Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
