Job Overview
Halenda’s Fine Foods Limited is seeking a dependable and motivated Kitchen Staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a food production or commercial kitchen environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to food safety, quality, and teamwork. This role requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced, high-temperature environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, handling, and processing of food products in accordance with company standards
- Operate kitchen equipment, including fryers and other food processing machinery, safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and food preparation areas
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations and company policies
- Support production workflows to meet daily output and quality targets
- Monitor food quality and report any issues or inconsistencies
- Assist with inventory handling, including lifting and moving supplies
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food production environment preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in high-temperature environments
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team setting
- Comfortable handling kitchen appliances and equipment, including fryers
- No known food allergies, particularly to wheat or flour-based products, due to the nature of the work environment
Preferred Skills & Assets
- Experience in food processing or meat preparation
- Knowledge of recipe formulation and product development
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation in food preparation or processing
- Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and production techniques
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
Working Conditions

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 per hour
