Overview
We are seeking motivated and dedicated Kitchen Staff to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food service, meal preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety. The Kitchen Staff will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that guests receive quality meals in a clean and efficient environment. Prior restaurant experience and a background in food handling are preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidates.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to meet safety regulations
- Follow all food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure quality control
- Assist with inventory management by stocking supplies and notifying management of shortages
- Contribute to a positive team environment by working collaboratively with colleagues
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards
- Ability to handle food properly and maintain hygiene standards at all times
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.85-$22.00 per hour
