Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, the Kitchen Night Cleaner will support the Housekeeping Team in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, shows initiative, and has a can-do attitude.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean assigned areas of the kitchen according to established standards
Support the cleaning needs of both internal and external building requirements
Upkeep and maintenance of a safe work environment as per policies and procedures
Conduct inventory of supplies and report needs to Executive Housekeeper
Work unsupervised to handle the mechanical needs of kitchen equipment
Honour workplace safety standards at all times
Other Housekeeping duties as required
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Ability to lift 20 pounds
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Fluent in English; good communication skills
Available to work “hospitality hours” (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
Able to stand for long periods of time; up to 8+ hours
Able to prioritize effectively with superb organisational skills
Two years experience in a similar role is preferred
Floor care knowledge and experience is an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $24.50 per hour
