⚠ NOTE : This position is intended for experienced cooks with leadership experience who are interested in advancing into a Kitchen Lead/Supervisor role. Refer to our Cook post for line/prep cook position.
Pay & Perks:
- Training Pay: $19.00/hour + tips (Average +$6-$10/hour)
- Lead Position Pay: Starting at $21.00/hour + tips after successful completion of training.
- Tips: Average +$6-$10/hour (depending on slow/busy seasons & performance)

Schedule:
- Opportunity to advance into a Kitchen Lead/Supervisor role after successful training.
- Must be available Mix of Day and Night, including Saturday day or night & Sunday night regularly.
- Must be available 3-5 total days/week.
- Must be able to expand your role from cook to cut prep and opening the shop. Refer to below.
- Cook Shifts:
- COOKS (Prep & Service):
- Day Shift: 7 am – 3/4 pm (subject to change)
- Night Shift: 3 /4 pm – 10/11 pm (subject to change)
- CUT PREP: 6 am – 10/11 am (+Cook shift 10/11 am – 3/4 pm when scheduled for restaurant service)
- Opening Shift: Starts at 5 am (+Cook shift 10/11 am – 3/4 pm when scheduled for restaurant service)
- We’re looking for someone ready to grow with us and stay long-term.
What You’ll Do:
- Prep and cook ramen & side dishes with care and true to the recipe.
- Maintain a clean, efficient, and safe kitchen (including dishwashing duties)
- Assist with inventory to reduce waste and keep ingredients stocked
- Communicate with all staff efficiently and respectfully.
- Occasionally support front-of-house (delivering orders, taking calls and orders etc.)
- Contribute to a small, dedicated team that takes pride in the quality of our food and customer service.
- Gradually expand your role from cook to cut prep and opening.
- Expand your role from line/prep cook to cook supervisor/kitchen lead.
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For:
- Strong Knife Skills
- 4+years of Professional Kitchen Experience ⚠ Knife skill will be tested.
- [Preferred] Experience as a Kitchen Lead/SV/Manager
- Passion for Japanese food and culture
- Food Handler’s Certificate (complete before first training day)
- Great if you have: customer service experience, a liquor license, or cut/prep experience in a Japanese kitchen
- Must have a valid driver’s license and your own vehicle.

Appearance & Dress Code: Team members must comply with company appearance standards. Facial piercings and large ear gauges are not permitted while working.
Pay: $21.00 – $30.00 per hour
