The Company: Ignite Pizzeria creates handmade artisanal pizza in a stone-baked oven in a casual dining setting. We use only the finest ingredients and aim to create the best quality pizza in the city. We are known for the pride we take in our handcrafted pizza, our amazing menu, and the great care we take with clients and employees alike.
Three Locations:
2588 Main Street (Main & 10, one street from Main and Broadway intersection)
508 West Cordova (Cordova & Richards, one street from Waterfront Station) *we are able to provide parking from this location.
987 Mainland (next to Yaletown Park and close to Yaletown-Roundhouse Station)
The Position: We’re looking for a Kitchen Helper, part-time or full time. The pay range depends on experience.
Requirements:
Experience working in a kitchen environment an asset
A friendly disposition and passionate work ethic
Ability to work a combination of days, evenings, and weekends.
Food safety experience an asset
A great communicator and listener
Able to lift 25 pounds
Responsibilities:
Dough Preparation:Approximately 2 hours daily dedicated to making dough, including double rolling and operating the dough mixer.
Ingredient preparation for a variety of toppings
Cleaning and organizing the kitchen at all times, following a checklist and schedule and maintaining a sanitary kitchen space.
Teamwork / able to share the workload with other team members and help with other kitchen and cashier duties as required
Able to work in a busy restaurant environment
Able to follow stock and manage ingredient inventory
Assure the proper maintenance and care of equipment
