Full job description

This position reports to the Supervisor – Cleaners and Kitchen Attendants and is primarily responsible for a full cleaning and sanitization of the demonstration and teaching kitchens, and common areas.
Specific Tasks include – but are not limited to, and may change from time to time:
Wash/disinfect worktables, cupboards, and appliances
Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers
Unpack and store supplies in cupboards and other storage areas
Sweep and mop floors and perform cleaning duties
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwasher or by hand
Place dishes in proper storage areas
Scour pots and pans and may clean and polish silverware.
Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, elevators, student lounge and locker areas
Pick up debris and empty trash containers
Other related cleaning duties as request by management
Must be willing to work flexible hours (day and evenings) Monday – Saturday
Responsible for lifting up to 25 lbs.
