**Job Title:** Kitchen Assistant
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.
**Duties:**
– Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to recipes and guidelines
– Support kitchen staff in cooking and serving dishes
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas
– Handle and store food items properly to prevent spoilage and contamination
– Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
– Follow food safety protocols and guidelines at all times
– Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the kitchen
**Experience:**
– Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
– Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
– Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Team player with excellent communication abilities
