We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kids Summer Campground Workers to join our team for the Canada Summer Jobs program. Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in various outdoor activities, games, and educational programs
- Assist in organizing camp activities, ensuring safety and inclusivity for all participants
- Support campers with daily routines, including meal times, rest periods, and transitions between activities
- Foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and social development
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of activity areas and camp facilities
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of camp programs
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and fellow staff to promote a welcoming atmosphere
Experience
- Prior experience in tutoring or teaching young children is preferred
- Background in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous
- Experience working with children in recreational, educational, or childcare settings is desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills and patience when working with diverse age groups
- Ability to lead activities that promote learning and fun in an outdoor environment
- Enthusiasm for outdoor activities and working in a team-oriented setting
Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
