Read on…As Quorum’s Junior Developer, you will participate in multiple projects, creating solutions that meet market needs relating to developing, testing, and maintaining products. The Junior Developer is responsible for designing fully functioning, debugged code with required documentation that meets development goals.
Here is what we will expect from you at work:
Initial tasks would include coding
exciting
and
innovative
new features and enhancements to a desktop automotive DMS (Dealership Management System) application. The longer-term goal would be to transition to more complex tasks including web application development.
Complete assigned tasks in an effective and efficient manner using best coding practices
Collaborate with the Team Lead and your peers in finding the best solutions to our most
challenging
development tasks.
Here is the kind of candidate we are looking for:
An IT diploma or equivalent is required for this position
Experience in the development of user interfaces
Experience with
Power Builder (or similar desktop application development IDE)
Experience with
C# .NET Relational database knowledge (experience with Transact-SQL in a SQL Server environment)
Experience with
JSONExperience with XML Experience with Git/Git Hub Experience with Scrum Methodology
Experience with
Scrum Jira Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Proven ability to work in a fast paced and
challenging
environment
Able to
work effectively as a team player or work independently with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
Superb verbal and written
communication skills
Enjoy
problem solving
and able to work with little supervision
