As a Junior Regulatory Advisor, you will join an Alberta or Ontario-based office as part of our growing Regulatory Planning and Permitting team.
This position provides
project management
and regulatory guidance and application support to internal and external clients during the design, construction, and operations for a variety of regulatory projects in Western Canada.
The successful applicant will be involved in a broad range of projects with responsibilities as follows:
Assist clients in understanding regulatory issues that could affect a project and propose solutions to address them.
Support environmental permitting and planning work on multi-disciplinary projects.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams within Matrix to deliver high quality results for our clients.
Support with the management, draft, review and submission of regulatory applications.
Adhere to project related timelines and budgets.
Follow the appropriate strategic approach for obtaining regulatory approvals and provide general guidance on approval timelines.
Maintain knowledge of regulatory changes.
Support environmental field work as required.
