The Junior Product Manager role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product management while contributing to the development of solutions that enhance the user experience across our logistics and transportation services.

As a Junior Product Manager, you will work closely with Product Managers, engineering, design, operations, and marketing teams to help execute product strategies. You will support the day-to-day activities of the product team and assist with managing the product lifecycle, from ideation through launch and post-launch improvements. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills and grow within product management.

Specific Responsibilities:

Support Product Development and Strategy

  • Assist the Product Manager in gathering and analyzing data to inform product decisions and strategies, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
  • Help with the documentation of product requirements, features, and functionality, ensuring accuracy and clarity for cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to product discovery efforts by collecting user feedback, conducting research, and working with stakeholders to understand key pain points and opportunities.
  • Support the prioritization of product features and backlog management, ensuring timely delivery of product improvements.
  • Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, marketing, and sales, to ensure seamless coordination in product development and delivery.
  • Work with the Product Manager to facilitate communication between teams, ensuring that everyone is aligned on product goals and timelines.
  • Participate in meetings and discovery sessions to support the development of product ideas and solutions.
  • Act as a point of contact for team members to ensure that information is effectively shared and questions are addressed promptly.
  • Product Lifecycle Assistance

  • Help manage the day-to-day product lifecycle activities, supporting the Product Manager in tracking progress, identifying bottlenecks, and ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Assist in post-launch analysis, gathering feedback and data on product performance to inform future iterations and improvements.
  • Participate in product testing and quality assurance to ensure that new features and updates meet user expectations and maintain high standards of quality.
  • Market and User Research

  • Conduct directed research to stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive products.
  • Support the Product Manager in translating research findings into actionable insights that can influence product development.
  • Help gather customer feedback through surveys, interviews, and user testing, ensuring that the product development process remains user centric.
  • Learning and Development

  • Learn and apply product management best practices by working closely with senior product team members.
  • Take advantage of opportunities for professional growth and development, including attending product management workshops, training sessions, and cross-functional meetings.
  • Embrace a growth mindset, actively seeking feedback from peers and managers to improve your product management skills.
  • Our Ideal Candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field (e.g., product management, operations, marketing, or technology) is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interest in product management with a desire to learn and grow in the role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to support product managers in managing complex projects and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with basic data analysis and the ability to derive insights from research and feedback.
  • Collaborative and proactive attitude, with a willingness to take initiative and contribute to team success.
