Junior Graphic Designer (Hybrid) Jobs in Markham at Sweetie Nail Supply Inc.
Sweetie Nail Supply is looking for a junior graphic designer to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to jumpstart their career in graphic design and contribute to exciting products. This is a fixed-term contract position until mid-September, with the potential for a full-time permanent role based on performance and company needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
Ability to illustrate graphics that align with the Sweetie Nail Supply brand an asset
Must be legally able to work and reside in Canada
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics and materials for print and digital platforms
Designing logos andbanners for both digital and print media.
Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including designing advertisements, social media content, and email newsletters
Create eye-catching illustrations, infographics, and other visual assets to enhance the brand presence of Sweetie Nail Supply
Assist in designing and updating website layouts, graphics, and user interfaces that enhance user experience and engagement
Collaborate with web developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently
Managing time and deadlines effectively, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule
Design product packaging, labels, and related materials that are visually appealing and aligned with brand standards.
Ensure all designs meet regulatory and legal requirements for packaging and labeling.
Ensure design projects align with brand guidelines and objectives
Create 3D mockups and prototypes to demonstrate packaging designs and concepts.
Prepare print-ready files and coordinate with production teams to ensure accuracy and quality
Edit and retouch product images for use in packaging and marketing materials
Optimize images for various printing processes and materials
Complete all deliverables within agreed-upon time frames
Actively seek feedback to improve design work
Handling various administrative tasks such as updating design libraries, sourcing stock images, and maintaining design equipment.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and design software/tools to continuously improve skills
