Job DescriptionRESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHCThe Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS).
Position SummaryUnder the supervision of Clinical Trial Manager (CTM), the incumbent supports in-clinic, or at-home interventions following protocols, procedures and internal SOPs. Refers to study leads if needing clinical or technical support.
General Duties
Provide subjects with a comfortable and safe environment,
Guide study subjects on study schedule and provide appropriate materials (i.e. time to eat, exercise, install device, etc…),
Handle study algorithm using continuous glucose monitoring sensor data, adjust pump basal rates and program boluses as guided by algorithm,
Ensure proper charting in respect of CRF completion regulations,
Share with medical team, management team, Clinical Research Coordinators and PI any relevant information,
Apply protocols to direct patients to the appropriate treatment in case of hypoglycemia-hyperglycemia,
Upload devices after tests and ensure proper data entry in appropriate databases.

Education / Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Field of Study: Nursing
Other education considered an asset for this position: Candidates from other health science specialty (i.e. nutrition, kinesiology, pharmacology, medicine, etc…), or engineering may be considered based on their experience.
Required Skills
Must be fluent in French and English to communicate with study subjects in preferred languages, must read, understand and write in English.

: $18.75 to $28.12/hour
