Their warehouse experts work with customers to understand challenges and goals, developing a recommendation that’s aligned to the customer’s business objectives and supply chain initiatives.What to expect…We are seeking a motivated and detail-orientedJunior Accountantto join our finance team. Reporting to the General Accountant and with a dotted line to the Billing and AR Analyst, the Junior Accountant will play a key role in supporting various accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
This is a full-time position based in Montreal, QC from our HQ.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing and customer/vendor inquiries.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial accountants.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting.
Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries and supporting documentation.
Assist with payroll processing and related filings.
Support the finance team with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Related field.
Previous experience (1-2 years) in an accounting or finance role is preferred.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with Netsuite or similar software is a plus).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
CPA designation or working towards CPA designation is an asset.
Salary range:$50k-$60k + 5% bonus
This is a full-time position based in Montreal, reporting tothe General Accountant and Billing and AR Analyst, with a dotted line to the VP Finance.
