Abben Heating & Plumbing Ltd. is a trusted provider of residential and commercial HVAC and electrical services in La Ronge, Northern Saskatchewan and Manitoba. With a strong reputation built on quality workmanship and reliable service, we are expanding our team and looking for a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our growing company.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to support new construction, renovation, and service work across a range of electrical and HVAC projects. The successful candidate will be a Red Seal-certified electrician (or equivalent) with strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform system testing
- Collaborate with other trades (plumbing, HVAC, etc.) on job sites
- Ensure all work is completed according to CSA and Saskatchewan electrical codes
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Provide excellent customer service during service calls and installations
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the electrical trade
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Strong understanding of Canadian Electrical Code and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
