Take-home van, gas card, phone and a well-organized dispatch team. No chaos, no guessing your day. We’re looking for an experienced Journeyman Plumber who can run service calls independently and take pride in quality work.
Pete & Son Plumbing & Drain Cleaning is a well-established, family-run company serving the Fraser Valley for over 12 years. We are growing and looking to add a reliable & experienced Journeyman Service Plumber to our team.
This is not an entry-level position. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of their work, solve problems and represent the company professionally with customers.
Our work ranges from service and troubleshooting to full installations. If you take pride in doing the job right the first time and don’t cut corners, you’ll fit in well here.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues independently
- Completing service calls efficiently and correctly
- Drain cleaning and sewer line troubleshooting
- Maintaining a clean, organized job site and respecting customer property
- Keeping your company vehicle clean, stocked, and organized
- Communicating clearly with customers and office staff
- Completing paperwork accurately and on time
What We Expect:
- Journeyman Plumber certification (required)
- Strong knowledge of BC plumbing code
- Gas B ticket (asset, not required)
- Valid BC driver’s license with clean record
- Organized, reliable, and self-motivated
- Able to manage your own day
- Participation in a rotating on-call schedule is required
- Must pass criminal record check
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- On-call rotation: 1 week every 4–5 weeks including weekends and statutory holidays
- Paid standby
- Paid overtime for service calls completed during on call
Service Area:
Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Agassiz, Harrison Hot Springs, Hope, Sunshine Valley and Boston Bar
