Role Responsibilities:
Lead and Mentor: Guide apprentices and less experienced electricians, sharing your knowledge and fostering a learning environment.
Project Execution: Take a hands-on approach to the installation and maintenance of fire alarm and access systems, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure all work adheres to national and local safety codes, maintaining Western Canada Fire Protection’s reputation for excellence.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and other professionals to efficiently plan and execute projects.
What We’re Looking For:
Certified Journeyman Electrician: Possession of relevant certification and a solid foundation in electrical work.
Experience in Fire Safety Systems: Demonstrated experience with fire alarm systems is highly desirable.
Leadership Qualities: Ability to mentor apprentices and work effectively as part of a team.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
