Responsibilities:
Cleaning common areas such as bathrooms, walkways, offices, locker areas, cafeteria, and major touch-points;
Perform sanitation functions: dusting, vacuuming, wet and dry mopping, scrubbing, sanitizing surfaces;
Operating ride-on/walk-behind buffer machines (training provided);
Emptying waste baskets, waste disposal and materials;
Perform repetitive physical tasks including but not limited to: lifting up to 30lbs, bending, pulling and/or pushing, prolonged standing, climbing stairs and walking 10,000 steps;
Wear all required PPE;
Follow and abide by all safety policies, protocols and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Approximately 1-year of janitorial or cleaning experience preferred;
Experience with heavy duty cleaning equipment is considered an asset;
Reliable & professional demeanor;
Own a pair of CSA certified safety shoes or will purchase before work;
Proven communication skills, both oral and written;
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure;
Work independently and in a team environment;
Reliable transportation to the facility.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 3:30pm – 12:00am.
