Full job description
We require additional Janitorial Staff to carry out cleaning, maintenance and security duties. The goal is to keep our jobsite in a clean and orderly condition. Applicants MUST be physically fit to perform all duties, as requested. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
-Clean designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
-Clean designated equipment and vehicles
-Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
-Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
-Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
-Make adjustments and minor repairs
-Stock and maintain supply rooms
-Cooperate with the rest of the staff
-Follow all health and safety regulations
-Travel between locations in Company Assigned Vehicle
-Maintain Company Vehicle in a clean manner
Requirements
-Proven Janitorial experience
-Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
-Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
-Integrity and ability to work independently
-Valid Class 5 License
Must be able to pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol testing.
Jobsites are located in the Elkford/Sparwood/Fernie area.
3-5 days per week expected, Monday-Friday, 8 hours days.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
